BEAR CREEK TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY --A 20 year old Bear Creek man was killed early Saturday morning in a crash on Route 115 near the Pennsylvania Turnpike interchange. Joseph P. Rogan died after the SUV he was driving struck the side of a tractor trailer that was turning around. The accident happened shortly after 1 am.

Passengers Calvin Kocher, 20, of Bear Creek, Joseph Hassan, 19, of Wilkes-Barre, Allison Sharon, 17, of Plains, and Jeremy Martin, 19, of Wilkes-Barre Township were all injured. State Police say Sharon and Martin's injuries are severe.

The driver of the tractor trailer, Richard Rody, 46, of Ohio was not injured.

Police say the investigation into the crash is continuing.
