PIKE TWP., BRADFORD COUNTY- A Bradford County woman at the center of a police standoff near LeRaysville is undergoing evaluation. State Police took Charlotte Klingerman into custody Tuesday night around 11:00 after she surrendered peacefully at her Pike Township home.

Claverack Rural Electric Cooperative says it all started Tuesday when one of its workers showed up at Klingerman's Ford Street home because the electric bill hadn't been paid. The worker says Klingerman threatened him twice with a shotgun.

He left and notified authorities. State police showed up around 1:00 P. M. and say Klingerman had a shotgun when a trooper tried speaking to her.

Following the late night surrender, Klingerman was taken to a hospital. So far, there's no word on what charges she'll face.
