Jersey Shore, Lycoming County-
An 11-year-old boy from Jersey Shore is taking time out to remember the true reason for this holiday season.
Kegan Wagner has organized a free community Christmas Eve dinner for those less fortunate, and anyone else who wants to show up.
It will be held at his place of worship, Trinity United Methodist Church, at the intersection of Allegheny and Glover Streets in Jersey Shore.
He's got all the donations of money and food and even volunteers that he needs to put together a spread consisting of glazed ham, scalloped potatoes, string beans, rolls, applesauce, and dessert.
The free dinner runs from 4:30-6:30 Thursday. As we mentioned, everyone is invited.
