SHAMOKIN, NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY- Investigators in Northumberland County say a fire that destroyed a vacant double row home is suspicious.

It happened around 4:30 Monday morning in Shamokin in the 400-block of North Rock Street.

The fire also damaged a neighboring apartment building. Police were able to wake up two men who lived there and get them out safely.
