LACKAWANNA COUNTY - Two people are dead following a smoky fire in Lackawanna County.

The flames started just after 11:30 last night at a home on Pine Grove Rd.

The Fire Chief says an elderly woman and her middle-aged son died in the fire.

Another woman was taken to the hospital.

Pine grove road was closed as crews finished cleaning up.
