NICHOLSON TOWNSHIP, WYOMING COUNTY - 2 people are dead after a motorcycle crash in Wyoming County.

State police at Tunkhannock say it happened Monday night around 8:30 along Route 107 in Nicholson Township.

A 54-year-old Oklahoma man and his 42-year-old old female passenger from Towanda were headed southbound.

That's when the motorcycle struck a guide rail.

Both victims were thrown from the motorcycle and killed.

Troopers say neither victim was wearing a helmet.

State Police were withholding the identities Tuesday morning until troopers could notify the victims' families.
