MIDDLE SMITHFIELD TWP., MONROE COUNTY -- State police are investigating a fire in a Monroe County private development that killed nearly two dozen animals.
It happened overnight in Middle Smithfield Township along Park Drive. The fire started in the kitchen.
A woman living there needed treatment for smoke inhalation. All 21 cats in the home died. | | |
