ELYSBURG, NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY -- It was one thrilling day at Knoebels Amusement Resort in Elysburg. The park is celebrating a silver anniversary - 25 years of The Phoenix rollercoaster.

The coaster was moved to Elysburg from Texas, where it was known as The Rocket. Knoebels changed the name to The Phoenix and the rest is thrill ride history.

To mark Tuesdays event there was a presentation of a Texas flag to help recall the coaster's colorful San Antonio heritage.
