The 2nd annual "Links For A Cure" Golf Outing & Family Picnic is this Saturday, July 18th at the Wilkes-Barre Municipal Golf Course in Bear Creek Twp. The event features a golf tournament, but a day full of activities, including an auction, live entertainment, fun for the kids, including a picnic for the whole family. The cost of the golf tournament is $125 per person, or there is a discount for golf foursomes. You may just attend the picnic, and that is open to the whole family. Cost is $35 per person, or $10 for kids under 12. The picnic features a pig roast, & more. The goal is to raise funds for pancreatic cancer & research. This is the main fundraiser for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Last year, the event raised nearly $60,000! To take part in this year's golf tournament or picnic, just call (570) 417-1140.
