SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY - A second child has died in a West Scranton fire that investigators ruled a case of arson.

The Lehigh County Coroner confirmed Wednesday morning that 10-year-old Michael Miles died at Lehigh Valley Burn Center where he was admitted Tuesday in critical condition..

The boy's 9-year-old brother, Taevon Miles, died early Tuesday morning.

Both victims' mother, Tyaisha Leary, and their other brother, 12-year-old Nijea, were rescued from their burning home at 166 S. Hyde Park Avenue and treated at the hospital for smoke inhalation.

Leary's boyfriend, William Woods, is considered a suspect in the deadly crime.

Police arrested him Tuesday night on assault and terroristic threat charges.

That arrest stems from an incident July 3rd at the victims' home.

Woods is jailed in Lackawanna County Prison on 500-thousand dollars bail.
