MOOSIC, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- A business is damaged after an overnight, 3-alarm fire.
It broke out just after 1:00 A.M. at Signature Building Systems, Inc. at 104 Springbrook Avenue in Moosic. The fire started in part of the modular home business where homes are assembled.
Avoca Fire Chief Chris VanLuvender said, “The sprinkling system was activated and the area at the scene of the fire was an area you couldn't get to, you actually had to get in and get it with the hand lines."
More than 100 people work at Signature Building Systems. A State Police Fire Marshal has been called to investigate this Lackawanna County fire.
