WYOMING VALLEY- It's one of those pivotal moments - an event which people in this area think of everything as happening before or after.

Today marks the 37th anniversary of the Agnes Flooding. The storm dumped so much rain it spilled over the banks of the Susquehanna River.

It flooded the Wyoming Valley and many other communities. Tens of thousands of homes and businesses were damaged or destroyed by the flooding.

Thousands of people were forced to evacuate.
