WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY- Hundreds gather to celebrate the Fourth of July with family, patriotic music and of course a fire works display.
Many people flocked to Kirby Park in Wilkes-Barre for the annual celebration.
And it turned out to be a beautiful night.
People camped out on the lawn and along the river bank for the festivities.
And of course, the music of the northeast philharmonic playing patriotic favorites under the evening skies.
Many people, like Barbara Bidding of Kingston say this is a family tradition.
"We're here because it's tradition. We come to Kirby park every year to hear the Philharmonic and see the fireworks."
Everyone then turned their attention to the star of the show..... As the annual fireworks display lit up the skies to the delight of all.
