HAZLETON , LUZERNE COUNTY- A family is preparing care packages for our troops overseas. The Schwendemans family owns the Amish Pantry in Hazleton . Their son, Christopher, is serving with other soldiers in the Ashley based 320th military police battalion. The Schwendemans are collecting items like CD’s, DVD’s, and toiletries to send the soldiers in Iraq . Anyone who wants to make a donation can drop off items at the store in Hazleton . It's located in the 200 block of south Church Street. | | |
