PLAINS TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY- A Luzerne County charity organization is making sure families in need have a Thanksgiving dinner.

The Commission on Economic Opportunity in Wilkes-Barre, held its annual Thanksgiving food distribution Saturday.

C. E.O. provides a Thanksgiving meal to needs families and individuals. The meal includes some holiday favorites along with a turkey.

C. E.O. says the tough economic times have caused for a very heavy turnout. Over 3,000 families have turned to C. E.O. for Thanksgiving meals so far this year.
