Welcome to "womb with a view” as the name implies that's exactly what you get.
A preview of baby. At 31 weeks pregnant Lyndall is overjoyed and overwhelmed at the first glimpse of this little person who is already ruling her world.
Thanks to 3-d and 4-d technology and a cooperating baby after a little shot of grape juicy juice to help wake up.
We get a series of real-life pictures and video.
Tarajoy Mies, tells us “womb with a view” 3-d is three-dimensional so you see everything on the outer surface so you can see the nose and ears and face and everything."
Pictures that are meant for entertainment only the 45 minute session -- is not a medical procedure. "We are non-diagnostic so anybody that comes in here must be under care through somebody else., notes Mies says, “A doctor, hospital, whatever the case may be."
Still it's a lot of fun trying to figure out who baby looks like.
Mies says "Do they have my nose or do they have my smile? A lot of times with images such as this one you can really see or you can compare them to your photos from when you were younger."
Case in point: This picture of Lyndall at about four months old.
We put it side by side with the 3-d ultrasound.
Notice the resemblance??
People travel from across the region and other states to take advantage of this relatively new technology. That just recently became available to the masses at a price of less than two-hundred dollars.
