DUNMORE, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- An exit ramp leading to Interstates 84 and 380 in Lackawanna County is back open after a dump truck crashed Friday morning.
Pennsylvania State Police said 35-year old Jamie Wasmanski was driving too fast on the exit ramp of the Casey Highway in Dunmore when he crashed. The truck took out part of the guide rail and overturned dumping its load. The ramp was closed for three hours while crews cleaned it up and re-opened around 11:30 Friday morning.
The driver was taken to the hospital and an investigation is now underway to see if alcohol may have played a role in that crash.
