PITTSTON, LUZERNE COUNTY- A man accused of beating a toddler will face his charges in a trial.

Investigators said 26-year-old Cody Quick of Nicholson, beat a 2-year-old baby girl so badly that she suffered a fractured skull and a broken arm and leg.

The alleged abuse took place over several weeks in November. The baby girl survived.

Tuesday in court, a judge ruled there is enough evidence to send Quick to a trial, but no date has been set.
