WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY- A gas worker is accused of stealing fuel from his own company. Richard Warner appeared in court for a hearing Monday.

A lawyer for Modern Gas of Pittston Township says the driver made illegal deliveries to people who aren't customers.

The company says it lost out on more than $11,000 worth of propane. Warner accuses Modern Gas of keeping inaccurate records.

But he did admit to delivering about $400 worth of fuel to a needy customer.
