Alleged Robber Nabbed in Luzerne County - Sunday, January 11, 2009 at 10:24PM EST
KINGSTON, LUZERNE COUNTY- Kingston police arrested two suspects Sunday night on charges they robbed a convenience store clerk.
Police arrested 25-year-old Joseph Bastin of Edwardsville and Christopher Bower. Both are accused of armed robbery.
Saturday night we showed you surveillance video from the crime. The hold-up happened at the Turkey Hill on Rutter Avenue in Kingston Saturday evening.
Police say Bastin walked into the store and used a knife to threaten the clerk. He didn't just want money, he wanted the entire cash register. He got it and left.
Police say Bower was the get-away driver and was paid $100 for the crime. Both men are now in jail. | | |
