SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY -- Just hours after seeing herself on TV, a Scranton woman turned herself into police to face theft charges.

Eyewitness News was there late Wednesday afternoon as Kelly Kareka left her arraignment in Scranton.

Kareka is accused of using a stolen credit card to charge nearly $300 worth of items at two West Scranton businesses. Police say she bought calling cards, gift cards and cigarettes.

After Eyewitness News broadcast her picture last night, Kareka turned herself in. She was released on $10,000 unsecured bail.
