MOOSIC, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- The Scranton Wilkes-Barre Yankees' 2008 Governor's Cup trophy was carried out in a cardboard box Thursday night. Sheriffs Deputies told WBRE Eyewitness News Michael Cortazar, 40, threw it to the ground after voicing frustration that there was no food inside a sports box at the stadium. Yankees' managers said it was unclear if the trophy could be repaired. Cortazar was taken to the Lackawanna County jail. Sheriffs say he'll be charged Friday morning. | | |
