DYBERRY TOWNSHIP , WAYNE COUNTY- A Wayne County animal shelter is back in business. The Dessin Animal Shelter in Honesdale was hit by flames last month. Thursday all the animals forced out by the fire moved back in. Animal shelter officials say it was a tough few weeks getting things back in order. More than half of the pets were displaced. The animals were put into foster care. Workers were able to upgrade the shelter. None of the pets were hurt in the fire. | |
