SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY -- A former Luzerne County judge was back in federal court here today to plead guilty to case-fixing and tax evasion.

Michael Toole agreed to a plea deal back in September. He remained on the bench until December, many of his cases could be challenged on the grounds his judgment was tainted. He could serve up to 23 years in prison.
