Another Luzerne County Leader May Be in Trouble - Monday, January 19, 2009 at 9:25PM EST

JENKINS TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY- Luzerne County's acting Controller may be in some hot water. Police say 32-year-old Anthony Martinelli is responsible for crashing his car into a wall and fence. And police suspect Martinelli was under the influence.

Detectives say it happened along Main Street in Jenkins Township. Reports indicate the one-car crash was called in around 3:00 Monday morning.

Police say Martinelli lives in the 300-block of Mclean Street in Dupont. County leaders say the acting controller's address matches the one in police records from the accident.

Martinelli has not been charged with anything. Police are waiting for results from blood testing.
