WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY- It was a scary morning for more than 100 people as flames ripped through their high-rise building.

The fire tore through part of the Sherman Hills Housing Complex in Wilkes-Barre early Sunday morning.

One person was hurt in the fire that broke out on the 4th floor around 2:00 A. M. Everyone in the building was evacuated and one person was sent to the hospital.

Firefighters say the people forced out won't be able to go home for a while. Crews are still looking for a cause.
