FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, CARBON COUNTY- State Police in Leighton are investigating the death of a 52-year-old male and a 50-year-old female at the Saw Mill Run Housing development in Franklin Township.

The two were husband and wife. The incident took place Sunday morning. Police were called to the scene just before 9:00 A. M.

According to a PSP news release, the preliminary investigation "shows a strong probability of this incident being a Murder/Suicide."

The names of the victims are not being released pending notification of family members.
