SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY -- WYOU will broadcast the 2010 armed forces from 11am until 12pm Saturday. WBRE reporter and US Navy veteran Mike Trim will co-host the parade live with WBRE anchor Candice Kelly.

Trim attended the armed forces luncheon at the St. Mary's center in Scranton. The luncheon is a preparation for the annual parade.

Among hundreds of veterans, Trim interviewed 92-year-old World War II vet Pat Capilungo, who is looking forward to this years parade. Capilungo, of Scranton, said, "When I see the people, even today, they come up to me, they'll shake my hand and say thank you for what you did. I say, I'm glad I went over, I think I did my job for the country."
