MIDDLE SMITHFIELD TWP., MONROE COUNTY -- State police in Monroe County are investigating the first reported murder of the new year.
It happened just before 6:00 A. M. New YearŐs Day on Pepper Road in Middle Smithfield Township.
Troopers charged Adam Lawruszkiewicz of New Jersey with criminal homicide. They say he stabbed Marcin Taran during a fight.
Taran's autopsy is scheduled for Saturday at Lehigh Valley Hospital. | | |
