SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY - An arrest warrant has been issued for a woman accused of placing foreign exchange students in filthy and dangerous homes.

The Lackawanna County District Attorney's Office filed the arrest warrant, Wednesday, against Edna Burgett.

Prosecutors don't know where she is and are searching for her.

A Lackawanna County Grand Jury determined Burgett placed at least 5 students in harm's way.

The Eyewitness News I-Team exposed the unsafe conditions which triggered a federal, state and local investigation.
