Wolensky from things like football helmet sales and athlete's meal money.
Hey wrote school district checks for practice SAT tests, but those tests are free.
Gochoel says, "That's the person who's charged with mentoring and guiding children into adulthood and they're careers and to see someone in that capacity take advantage of students and the community is very sad."
Wolensky told police he stole because of an illness in the family.
He moved the stolen money into a Wyoming Valley baseball league account, then spent it.
“Things are tight right now so that's money that could be used for educational supplies or things like that. I mean at this point, our mission as a district is to get as much restitution as possible," says Gochoel.
Wolensky has paid back some of his stolen money.
He could face up to 7 years in jail.
He'll have to pay back the whole 24 thousand to the school district.
