LAKE TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY- A Sweet Valley man is behind bars, accused of trying to abduct a woman last Friday in Luzerne County.
State Police arrested Mark Allen Brandon late Tuesday afternoon in connection with the crime.
Troopers say the 47-year-old used a large, knife to try and kidnap a 44-year-old woman at May's Car Wash on Route 118.
The woman escaped with only minor cuts and bruises.
Brandon faces a slew of charges including; attempted kidnapping and aggravated assault.
He's locked-up on $25,000 bail.
