Attempted Child Abduction in Lackawanna County - Saturday, March 21, 2009 at 10:03AM EST

DUNMORE, LACKAWANNA COUNTY -- Police here are looking for a man responsible for an attempted abduction. Dunmore police say a man driving a large white van tried to lure a girl on her way to school Friday morning. The incident happened near Warren and Church streets.

Police obtained surveillance video of the van, and say a paper in the rear window might mean it was recently registered. If you have any information about the incident, you're asked to call police in Dunmore. You can watch Joe Holden's report for a look at the van.
