PLYMOUTH, LUZERNE COUNTY- Police are warning parents to be alert after an attempted child abduction. It happened Sunday morning in Luzerne County.

A man walked out of a brush-filled area in Plymouth near Mill and Coal Streets. That's where 2 children were playing in the back of their house.

The man grabbed a 5-year-old girl by the shoulder. She screamed and kicked him. The other child screamed for their mother who was in the house.

The man ran away, but not before the mother saw him. Police are now trying to put together a composite sketch of the suspect.
