WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY- It could be weeks before we know how a Wilkes-Barre baby died.
1-year-old Zalayia McCloe died at a hospital Sunday. She was found with severe injuries at her home on Carlisle Street Friday.
An autopsy was performed this morning. The Luzerne County District Attorney says the results are pending. They might not be finalized for up to six weeks.
Police say Lamont Cherry was watching the baby on Friday. He's her mother's boyfriend. Cherry was arrested and is still locked up on abuse related charges. | |
