Avoca Man Charged With Almost a Dozen Child Sex Crimes - Monday, November 24, 2008 at 5:10PM EST

AVOCA, LUZERNE COUNTY- A Luzerne County man who previously served time for sexually assaulting a minor is back behind bars.

Police took 34-year-old Vincent Orleski of Avoca into custody Monday. He appeared before a district court judge who charged him with about a dozen child sex crimes.

Police say Orleski victimized a girl who's now 13-year-old. Avoca Police Chief Dave Homschek said, "It stemmed for 13-months from 2007 to June of 2008. She had actually confided in someone at her school who in turn contacted children and youth."

Orleski served a previous 1-year sentence for supplying alcohol to a girl in 2001 and having sex with her. He's locked up on a half-million dollars bail and faces a hearing next week.
