HARRISBURG, DAUPHIN COUNTY- Pennsylvania Attorney General Thomas Corbett said it was a sad day in Pennsylvania, referring to preliminary results of an investigation into bonuses handed out in exchange for campaign work. The state's chief prosecutor made the announcement pointing to the expected filing of criminal charges against Rep. Sean Ramaley, D-Beaver, former House Minority Whip Michael Veon and Michael Manzo, former chief of staff to House Majority Leader Bill DeWeese, D-Greene, among others.

Corbett said the grand jury probe moved as quickly. The presentment revealed illegal activity in the awarding of bonuses for campaign work paid for by taxpayer money in 2005 and 2006.

Corbett cautioned the investigation is not over and continues into the other two caucuses.
