WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY- A man who lost four family members when George Banks went on a murder spree wants the convicted killer to die.

But a judge ruled banks is not competent to be put to death. That has relatives to the victims outraged.

William Yuhas says that deadly day in 1982 in Wilkes-Barre seems like yesterday. 13 people were shot to death by George Banks. Four of them were Yuhas’ relatives: 2 sisters, a 4-year-old nephew, and 20-month-old niece.

Yuhas insists it is time for Banks to pay for his crimes."Watching the news every year, every couple of years the guy comes up for appeal, he should have paid for his crime already by death," he said.

Yuhas argues that the legal system causes even more pain for the victims’ families. "This is just unfair to families that suffered over this and taxpayers to this country. I have to reach into my paycheck every week, I'm still putting bread and water in this man's belly. I know this man's laughing, he had 20 years to learn how to act crazy and be incompetent," argued Yuhas.
