WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY -- A barber hired to cut inmates' hair at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility has been arrested.
Robert Licata has been charged with tampering with public records. Police say the barber made 17 illegal sign-in sheets over nearly two years.
Licata was required to have sign-in sheets to determine the number of haircuts he gave to inmates.
An investigation discovered Licata was compensated almost $6,000 for haircuts he did not provide. | |
