STROUDSBURG, MONROE COUNTY- There was quite a sight in downtown Stroudsburg Thursday. A bear came visiting.

He climbed into a tree on Third Street around 9:00 A. M. and the bear stayed for about four hours.

The game commission came and tranquilized the animal and took it away. Officers say he weighed more than 150 pounds.

The bear will be released into Tobyhanna State Park.
