PLAINS TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY- In case you didn't know Tuesday is Mardi Gras, also called Fat Tuesday or Donut Day. But it doesn't matter what you call it, because it's all about the sweets.
Eyewitness News stopped by Bakery Delite in Plains Township, and it was busy to say the least.

Fastnachts and paszki's were flying off the bakery racks, along with king cakes.

Bakers say they started baking at 10:00 Monday night in preparation for the big rush.
