MONTOURSVILLE- A standing room only crowd Thursday night at Loyalsock Valley Elementary School.
Parents and taxpayers turning out to voice their opinion on closing the school.
Montoursville Area School District is considering closing the school because it's too old and small.
The district is also planning on renovating and expanding other schools in the district.
The cost: $23 million dollars.
Those at the meeting say they are concern about travel time to other schools if Loyalsock Valley Elementary closed.
And are not in favor of the option of putting elementary and junior high students together.
The district hopes to have a final decision by July first. | |
