WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY -- An annual music festival drew a crowd to Kirby Park Sunday afternoon. Local musicians put together the event called "MayDay."
It featured live bands, hip-hop acts and DJs. This is the third year for MayDay! The music festival raises money for the organization "Soldiers' Angels." The group helps troops and their families deal with the difficulty of being away at war.
Organizers hoped to top last year's $900 fundraising total. | | |
