SCRANTON, LUZERNE COUNTY- The former Chief Deputy Clerk of Luzerne County is headed to prison.
Bill Brace admitted to taking a $1,500 tailor-made suit from an unnamed contractor to steer county work their way. Brace was sentenced to 3 months in prison and a $10,000 dollar fine.
It was also learned in court today that he took $800 a month from that same contractor. Brace got the money for promising future work with Luzerne County and Wilkes-Barre city.
He's also cooperating with the FBIin a probe of the county Clerk of Courts office.
