TOBYHANNA, MONROE COUNTY - Just 48 hours before the Pennsylvania primary, former President Bill Clinton made two more stops in Northeastern Pennsylvania on Sunday. Mr. Clinton has spent a lot of time in our area, campaigning in support of his wife Hillary.

Mr. Clinton held a rally Sunday night at the Pocono Mountain Municipal Airport in Tobyhanna. His main focus was on the economy. He said the most important thing for the next president is to restore America's standing in the world.

"In order to create jobs, we have got to do what other rich countries are doing that are creating jobs. Make a committment to energy independence to liberate ourselves through home grown clean-energy and energy efficiency. THere are five million jobs in it," Mr. Clinton said.

Before stopping in Monroe County, Mr. Clinton also made a stop in Pike County. She spoke to supporters at a home in Milford.
