Williamsport, Lycoming County-

Williamsport police and the Attorney General’s office say they’ve nabbed a major heroin dealer.

At a press conference to announce the arrest, officers displayed the $20,000 worth of heroin they confiscated.

Police say they made several undercover drug buys from 35-year-old Nigel Jackson at a home on West Fourth Street over the past week.

They also seized thousands in cash and a semi-automatic handgun.

Williamsport Police Chief Greg Foresman said, “Hopefully this sends a message out to all the drug dealers who look to do business here within the city, that this kind of activity will not be tolerated.”

Officials say this investigation is continuing, and more arrests may be on the way.

Nigel Jackson is locked up at the Lycoming County Prison on $75,000 bail.
