BLOOMSBURG, COLUMBIA COUNTY- An employee at Bloomsburg University has been charged with stealing carpet from the school.

Police say Andrew Shaffer III admitted to taking 350 carpet tiles. They were in a storage area between July and August of last year.

The carpet is valued at more than$15,000. Police found the carpet and confiscated it from a home near Philadelphia earlier this month.

They say that's where Shaffer was working on an independent construction project.
