NESCOPECK, LUZERNE COUNTY- The Briggs Farm Blues Festival is underway this weekend in Luzerne County. And camping is a big part of what makes it so unique.

They come from far and wide for the music. About 4500 blues fans are enjoying music under the stars on this steamy summer weekend.

The festival has drawn blues bands and vocalist from across the region to all the way to the delta of the Mississipi.

Blues fans can set up on site. The campground also offers family areas and quiet areas for those that like to sleep.

Some set up camp in the woods others in the open field right near the stage. The music isn't the only thing that's spicy and funky. So is the food.

Richard Briggs is the founder of the blues festival. He first got the idea when he was 16-because he loves what he calls story telling music. He decided to live his dream on his family's farm.
