SCRANTON , LACKAWANNA COUNTY- Police are investigating the discovery of a woman's body not far from the downtown. A man notified police around 7am that he found the body in a wooded area. It's near a train overpass at Olive Street just off Barrett Court . We spoke to authorities who say the death doesn't appear suspicious at this point. An autopsy is scheduled this hour that investigators hope will provide much more information. | | |
