The Freeland Municipal Authority is issuing a water boil advisory for the following sections of Freeland: Walnut, Chestnut, Burton Streets in the 900 to 1100 blocks and also Laurel Street.

Residents are asked to boil their water for drinking and/or cooking for the next 24 hours.

The boil advisory is due to a water main break. The break has been repaired.
